About David Solomon

David Solomon teaches classes on Windows internals and advanced system troubleshooting. His clients include the major hardware/software manufacturers as well as large IT organizations. Microsoft has David teach these classes regularly to their developers and support personnel worldwide.

He is also the author of four books:

Formerly a Consulting Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, David worked for over 9 years as a project leader and developer in the VMS operating system development group. He developed the Windows NT in OpenVMS Terms seminar series, which he delivered to over 1000 students worldwide.

In addition to organizing and teaching seminars, David has served as technical chair for three past Windows NT conferences and has spoken at WinDev, Windows World, Software Development, five Microsoft Professional Developers Conferences (PDC), many Microsoft TechEd conferences, MSJ Developers Academy, and DECUS. He was named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award in 1993, 2005, and 2006.
